Mateus cap. 5, vers.25-26, exorta a reconcilia\u00e7\u00e3o com os irm\u00e3os nesta vida para que \u201cn\u00e3o suceda que o advers\u00e1rio te entregue ao juiz e o juiz te entregue ao seu ministro, e sejas posto em pris\u00e3o. Em verdade te digo: n\u00e3o sair\u00e1s de l\u00e1 antes de ter pago o \u00faltimo ceitil.\u201d (centavo).<br \/>\n\u00c9 evidente que esta pris\u00e3o tempor\u00e1ria, lugar de perd\u00e3o na outra vida, atrav\u00e9s de um fogo que purifica e salva, e de onde se sair\u00e1 depois de pagar o \u00faltimo ceitil, n\u00e3o pode ser o C\u00e9u, \u201conde nada de impuro entrar\u00e1\u201d (Apocalipse 21,27), nem o inferno, \u201conde n\u00e3o h\u00e1 reden\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d e onde o fogo \u00e9 eterno. (Mt 25.41).<br \/>\n*Portanto \u00e9 bom rezar pelos mortos, participar nas missas por essa inten\u00e7\u00e3o dos falecidos, bem como mandar celebrar missas.
